The title is still to be settled. The lecture will take up the Indian tradition of Arabic logic: the Sullam al-ʿulūm, its rise as the core logic text of the Niẓāmī curriculum, and the commentarial networks of Delhi, Lucknow, Farangī Maḥall, Sihāla, Sandīla and Gūpāmaw that produced more than a hundred commentaries on it. A lecture, then a conversation with Ali Javed and questions from the audience.
